Old Red Alert and Tiberium Downloads

Ea have decided to re release some of there old downloads again… Modders should be happy, check it out!

Declassified and re-activated, hit up our new Red Alert and Tiberium universe download sections for all your official file needs, and a bit of fun stuff!

You’ll find all your important files from patches to Worldbuilder to our Mod SDK, and some memorable fun downloads you may have forgotten about. We’re also going to be adding fan-submitted downloads, tested and approved, so hit up the sections below and get your downloads on! We’ll be updating these sections with new files as the weeks carry on, and don’t worry Generals fans, we’ll be activating the Generals Download Section very soon.

Red Alert 3 SDK Mods begin!

It’s time to start modding Comrades! Download the hot new Red Alert 3 MOD SDK and get those balance and total conversions pumping!

The Red Alert 3 MOD SDK provides not only the same, but also greater power than our previous C&C 3 MOD SDK. It also introduces a fresh breath of unique features to greatly simplify the process of compiling a mod with our new Red Alert 3 Mod BuildStudio. Download the SDK to start modding and be sure to download the other tools below as well. The MOD SDK includes a wealth of documentation and instructions to get you started!

Modders who will be creating multiplayer maps and scripted single player missions with their specific mod art assets will need to download our unique MOD SDK version of Worldbuilder below. Please note, this version of Worldbuilder is only necessary for modders who would like to use their own art assets to create maps and missions with. If you are not creating new art for your mod or building a custom map with non-RA3 art assets, then you do not need to download this version of Worldbuilder. The Mod SDK version of Worldbuilder is significantly larger to accommodate compatibility with the Mod SDK as well as the game data. For further info, please refer to Question 3 in this interview.

We’ve also provided a User-Interface source pack which includes everything from the “APT” folder of Red Alert 3 (minus the SWF files) which previously could not be accessed. This UI screen pack will allow modders to use the Red Alert 3 User-Interface source files as direct reference for dimensions, file size, and art style if you will be modifying the UI in your Red Alert 3 Mod.

In the coming days and weeks we will be releasing various art source packs and further tutorial/documentation for Red Alert 3 & Uprising to provide modders a further breath of reference and source art when creating their mods. But for now, all you need to get started on your balance and total conversion mods are the above files, Comrade! So start modding!

Red Alert 3 Patch 1.09

Red Alert 3’s latest patch version 1.09 is not yet available for download, but ra3 have made the game unplayable online till its release.

Right know the whole of red alert 3 uk is in suspended animation waiting for a download link for this patch.

The patch will be available 3pm LA time… which is 10pm UK time if my calculations are correct.

RA3 on the EeePC

Hello all,

I have just bought an EeePC. You can see my blog over at http://www.netbook5.co.uk im going to try my absolute hardest to see if i can get our beloved computer game, red alert 3 to run on the eeepc’s limited hardware. If it does, ra3 on the the move would be great!

At the moment all i can find fault with is the lack of memory, but im upgrading the hardware with more ram and a SD HC card to increase the storeage space. Get subscribed over on my other blog with you RSS readers as i intend to make some updates soon!

Red Aler 3 1.7 patch changes

Finally we have the complete list of the balance changes to be implemented in 1.7 for ra3.

The changes below look good and should mean people rethinking some of there strats. We look forward to seeing the new 2v2 ladder also!
· Parachuting drop speed has been increased.

· The range bonus applied to infantry in garrisons is reduced to 25% from 100%.

· Aircraft Return To Base speed boost reduced to 25% from 50%.

· Allied Vindicator (unupgraded) reload time increased to 10s from 5s

· Allied Vindicator (upgraded) reload time increased to 7s from 3.5s.

· Allied Apollo speed reduced to 225 from 250.

· Allied Apollo now twice as vulnerable to attack from units other than the Mig, Tengu, and other Apollos.

· Allied Apollo ammo reduced by 25%.

· Allied Century Bomber reload time increased by 50%

· Allied Multigunner Turret (ungarrisoned) damage versus infantry reduced by 50%.

· Allied Multigunner Turret (Peacekeeper Garrisoned) has had its accuracy increased.

· Japan Mainframe Core build cost decreased to 2500 from 3000.

· Japan Mainframe Core unpack time increased to 30s from 16s.

· Japan Shogun Battleship health reduced to 1500 from 2000.

· Soviet Bullfrog Man-Cannon launch speed increased.

· Soviet Conscript gun damage increased by 25%.

· Soviet Tesla Trooper pre attack delay reduced by 1 second.

· Soviet MiG speed reduced to 210 from 225.

· Soviet MiGs now twice as vulnerable to attack from units other than the Mig, Tengu, and other Apollos.

· Soviet Ultratorpedo damage reduced to 300 from 400. Damage now tapers to 100 at the edge of the blast radius.

· Soviet Twinblade health reduced to 500 from 600.

· Soviet Twinblade passenger capacity reduced to 4 from 5.

Red Alert 3 Uprising Cast Announced

Red Alert 3 have officially announced the cast to there new ra3 title: red alert 3 uprising. They have also released some nice new pictures to wet your appetites for the new ra3 expansion.

The cast of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising includes (in alphabetical order): Jamie Chung, (Dragonball Evolution), Ric Flair (16-time world heavyweight wrestling champion), Malcolm McDowell (Heroes, Clockwork Orange, Wing Commander), Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Prison Break), Holly Valance (Neighbours) along with returning fan-favorites Gemma Atkinson and Ivana Milicevic.

“Quality live-action movies and storytelling have always been a unique component to the Command & Conquer DNA and we wanted to make sure we did things right with Uprising,” said Amer Ajami, Senior Producer at EA Los Angeles. “We are really pleased we were able to assemble another large and talented ensemble for Uprising, and we think our fans are going to be pleased by everyone’s performances not only in the cutscenes, but also in Commander’s Challenge, where you’ll actually be battling some of our stars.”

“When I found out that EA wanted me to be part of Command & Conquer, all I could say was ‘Woooooooooooo!’” said 16-time world heavyweight champion, Ric Flair, who stars as Commander Hill, a commander players will have to take on in the new Commander’s Challenge mode. “I had a great time on set and whiIe I may have retired from the ring, I think my fans are going to love seeing the “Nature Boy” style and profile his way to victory. I know my kids are going to have a great time trying to take it to me on the battlefield.”

Malcolm McDowell, who plays Rupert Thornley, the president of the European Union, and had previously starred in the live-action movies for the Wing Commander franchise, added, “It’s great to be working with good actors and the more good actors you can get to do games, the better. In the past people might have thought you could get away with anything in games and that isn’t a good attitude. Kids are spending a lot of money and time on these games and they deserve first rate performers and I’m glad to say that this is what Uprising is.”

Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising will take players deeper into the Red Alert™ universe with four new mini-campaigns set in the aftermath of the events of Red Alert 3. The game also features the new Commander’s Challenge mode, a series of 50 challenging, over-the-top scenarios where players will need to battle through a gauntlet of commanders and obstacles in order to unlock the game’s powerful new units.
