Do I need the most recent update to run it without problems?

Will this work the XBox360 version? I want to make maps but i was wondering if this is what i need or if its even possable cuz those offical maps kinda suck
Is there a tutorial for this program? I’m having difficulties trying to find how to place multiplayer starting positions on a new map. Also I need to know how to incorperate my new map into the game. Any help would be much appreciated.

don’t youi think that we as ra3 palyers should know about secret units, we have palyed the first 6 and we know that spys ect can unlock units that we normally can’t unlock, we need more unlockable units and sneaky game play, i know i’m the one who used allies and the chrono units and abilitys. we need more!!!!!

to place multi player start location there should be a little button at the top ( on the button bar ) that looks like a rally point set click on that and it should come up with a box and at the top there should be a slide down bar, after clicking on the map where you want the start location click the scroll down bar and select player_1 start , and so on for the rest. but please dont forget to go into edit - player setting - and click add skirmish players, also youll need to click edit and map settings then give your map a name in there after saving for the 1st time for best run in game.
also if you need a tutorial the best place is you tube and just search for one. thats what i used for generals and its bout the same as that lol.

i just has a nosey at your comment, ive played every game of the c&c series and can say from tiberium sun through to red alert 3 i have not lost a serious 1 v 1 match lol. and i only use 1 unit and have hundreds of them.
this was fun, i tried it out, now gonna get myself screwed
The install program failed at midway, how could i fix it??
